The parish program during the summer months will also have a holiday spirit. In July and August, there will be no Mass on Tuesdays at St. Martin's, no regular catechesis for catechumens, nor online classes and other activities noted on the website.
During the week of June 29, we will have a collection on Sunday to support the seminarians. On Friday at 5 PM, there will be a First Friday adoration of the Eucharist at the Church of the Holy Family. On Saturday at noon, Amy Kateřina Balážová will be baptized at St. Martin's Church. The Mass on Saturday will celebrate the feast of St. Cyril and Methodius; it will not be combined with Vespers, but will have the validity of a Sunday Mass.
During the week of July 6, we will continue in the parish’s summer mode. On Tuesday at 6 PM, there will be a meeting of the Parish Economic Council at the Club.
The week starting Sunday, July 13 will also follow the summer mode. Worship services will take place in the summer format.
The week of July 20 will also take place in summer mode. On Friday at 10 AM, Tereza Hladká will be baptized at St. Martin's Church. Next Sunday is Grandparents' Day. The letter from Pope Leo for this day can be read in the attachment.
During the week of Sunday, July 27, we will continue in summer mode. Friday is the first of the month; from 5 PM there will be adoration of the Eucharist at the Church of the Holy Family. On Friday at 11 AM, there will be the funeral of Mr. František Mráček at the Church of the Holy Family. The week starting Sunday, August 3 continues in summer mode again.
The week starting Sunday, August 10 will remain in summer mode. On Friday, for the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, I cordially invite you to the Holy Mass at Strahov, celebrated by Bishop Pavel Konzbul from Brno. Next Sunday, August 17 at 10:30 AM, Antonie Málková will be baptized at St. Martin's Church.
During the week starting Sunday, August 17, we will continue in summer mode. I would like to invite you to a walking pilgrimage to Hájek on Saturday, September 6. Departure will be from the Church of the Holy Family at 8 AM. I remind you of the invitation to the parish picnic on Sunday, September 14 at 3 PM in the garden of the Home of St. Charles.
