Epidemic measures regarding worship remain unchanged for now. I remind you that due to the cancellation of the requirement for distancing during worship, it is not necessary to reserve a place for Mass.
In the week starting January 2, there will be a Mass on Tuesday at St. Martin's Church. Online meetings, whether Bible studies or catechism classes, will continue on Tuesdays unless stated otherwise. The procedure for participation remains the same: sign up here on the website, where you will receive instructions and possibly details of the meeting by email, then you can join from 20:20. On Saturday, January 1, the pastoral letter from Cardinal will be read, which I attach as an appendix to this article.
In the week starting January 9, we will enter the liturgical ordinary time. In connection with the cancellation of the requirement to maintain distance during worship, we can return the Sunday Mass at 7:45 to St. Martin's Church. On Monday, there will be an altar server meeting at the Church of the Holy Family at 5 PM. The funeral of Mrs. Martina Mudruňková will then take place there on Tuesday at 9 AM. On Tuesday at 20:30, we can meet online for Bible study. On Thursday at 7 PM, there will be a regular parish council meeting.
In the week starting January 16, we will have a meeting of the parish economic council at St. Martin's Church on Tuesday, January 18. There will be no online catechism class this week for that reason. Tuesday marks the beginning of the week of prayer for Christian unity. We will remember this intention in our prayers in our parish. A collection is announced for next Sunday to support institutions spreading God's word - the Czech Catholic Biblical Work and the Czech Biblical Society. The collection will take place in the form of distributing payment slips or it is possible to send the amount to the account: 45301130/2700 with variable symbol: 9207200220. You may also use the QR code for mobile payment, which is attached to this article (you need to click on the image to view it in full size).
In the week starting January 23, we will conclude the week of prayer for Christian unity on Tuesday. There will be a Mass at the Church of the Holy Family on Tuesday, as agreed upon at the last meeting of the pastoral council, followed by a prayer with Taizé chants. Then at 20:30, there will be an online Bible study. Sunday, January 23, is dedicated to God's word; you can read Cardinal Duká's message for this day in the appendix of this article.
I wish you all the best!
