News from September 2021

The current measures against the spread of coronavirus can be viewed on the website of the Ministry of Health. Currently, a distance of at least 1.5 meters is required between participants of the service, and a mask is required during services with more than 10 participants.

Registration for religious education takes place through sheets placed in the church vestibules. Please write down which children you are interested in teaching; a date will then be arranged based on the registered participants.

Given the responsibility I feel regarding the danger of introducing COVID into St. Charles Borromeo Home, I will temporarily keep the Biblical hours and Catechism classes every Wednesday at 8:30 PM online. Registration takes place every Monday here on the website.

I ask parents who stay in the church vestibule with their children during Mass to clean up after themselves (crayons, papers). Thank you in advance.

On Tuesday, September 21, at 5 PM, there will be a meeting for altar servers at the Church of the Holy Family.

I will publish updates here on the website in these monthly articles for now; please follow their content. I choose this method because at the moment there is not much new information that would fill the entire article to make it not too short. I will add new information to this article with the date of the update.

Update September 25:

On Tuesday, September 28, for the feast of St. Wenceslas, there will be a Mass at the Church of the Holy Family. No reservation is needed. After the Mass, there will be a Taizé prayer. On Wednesday at 8:30 PM we will continue with the online Catechism class, continuing with the topic of Biblical anthropology.

In the month of October, we will pray the Rosary before Mass every Saturday at 5:30 PM.

I wish you blessed days,

Gregory J. Žáček.
