I also thank all those who are involved in the musical accompaniment of the services, whether through singing or playing an instrument. As you know, collective singing by the congregation is not permitted in the current situation, but a choir of singers can sing if they are in a structurally separated area. Singing is an integral part of the liturgy, and therefore I am glad that it is possible for us in this way, and not only that: beautiful compositions that support contemplation and prayer are also being performed.
I also thank you who help with the cleaning of the church. If you find time in your schedule, we would be grateful if you could join in the cleaning. You can newly sign up here on the website. After selecting a date, you will enter your contact details and send it; subsequently, your contact details along with the selected date will be sent to Sister Kristýna and also to you for verification. In the email, you also have a link for potential cancellation if you find that something else has come up.
In the vestibules of St. Family and St. Martin's churches, new Martinoviny are available. I thank Mr. Peřich for their preparation. If you cannot get to the church, you can download them here on the website.
This week we will again have an online Bible study on Wednesday; registration is, as usual, available starting on Monday. On Thursday, the parish council will take place online due to the current situation. On Friday after the Holy Mass, we will pray the Stations of the Cross, which you can follow on our parish YouTube channel.
I wish you a blessed week and see many of you at the Holy Mass.
Řehoř J. Žáček.
