At the same time, this serves as a final stretch of our preparation for the renewal of our baptismal vows; for the catechumens, these are the last moments of their preparation for rebirth in Christ. Therefore, I ask for your prayers, that they may be protected from the Evil One, and that their resolutions may remain steadfast.
In the week of April 2, there will be an online Bible study on Tuesday. On Maundy Thursday, there will be a Mass in memory of the Last Supper at 6 PM, followed by a guided devotion in the Garden of Gethsemane. On Good Friday, there will be an opportunity to participate in the Stations of the Cross at 9 AM at the Church of the Holy Family, followed by the rites commemorating the Lord's Passion at 4 PM. I also invite you to the traditional evening prayer of the Stations of the Cross on Petřín, starting at 9 PM. The procession begins in front of the Strahov Monastery Basilica before 9 PM. On Holy Saturday, I invite you to join the Daytime Prayer of the Church, a prayer with readings, after which we will continue with the catechumens in the celebration of the preparatory rites for the baptism of adults; I would be happy if you could also participate. In the evening, when liturgically Sunday begins, at 8:30 PM we will celebrate the Easter Vigil, during which our catechumens will also receive baptism. On Sunday, after the Mass at the Holy Family, there will be coffee for the parish; the Mass at the Church of St. Martin will exceptionally be at 10:30 AM. At the end of Sunday services, we will bless the food.
In the week of April 9, which is the Feast of the Resurrection of the Lord, we will experience the Easter octave. This Tuesday, there will be no online meeting. On Thursday at 7 PM at the Club, there will be a meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council. On Friday, we will continue with the children in preparation for their First Holy Communion.
In the week of April 16, there will be an online Bible study on Tuesday. On Friday at 3 PM, there will be a farewell to Mrs. Marta Vítková at the Church of the Holy Family. On Friday, we will continue with the children in preparation for their First Holy Communion. The collection next Sunday will go to the fund for priests' salaries. I kindly ask after the Mass at the Church of the Holy Family, especially on Sunday, to maintain silence in the church, to allow those who still wish to pray to have the conditions to do so. In the week of April 23, there will be a Taizé prayer on Tuesday at 7:30 PM at the Church of the Holy Family. Then at 8:30 PM, there will be an online catechism class. On Friday, we will continue with the children in preparation for their First Holy Communion.

We invite you to the Magnus event in Prague. This is a meeting with Mr. Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, the founder of the charity organization Mary’s Meals. This organization helps hungry children in the poorest regions of the world. The children are also effectively guided towards education, as they receive one nutritious meal a day at school. So it's a simple equation: Food + School = Hope. We cordially invite you to our event on two possible dates: May 10 at 7:20 PM at the Church of St. Teresa in Kobylisy, or May 11 at 7:00 PM at the Mother Teresa Community Center in Prague-Chodov. Both evenings will be moderated and translated by Kateřina Lachmanová, with performances by singer-songwriter Pavel Helan and a book signing of Magnus's books Bouda, která krmí miliony dětí and Štědrost a dobročinnost.
